Becoming really good friends with my kenyan co-workers Julien and Thomas. They took me to this local restaurant near Sarit Center called God's Gift and packed kikuyu style lunch for the office. It was a buffet of delicious African dishes from beef stew, fried fish, fried chicken, mash potato with chickpea/spinach, vegetables, and the list goes on. I got some friend fish, veggie, beef, matoke (plaintain), and Thomas bought me a supersized Stoney cuz he knows I like it. All for only 250 kenyan schillings...I think this is better tasting and cheaper than a meal I cook for myself. YUM!
